MY 3 GO-TO DATE BALL RECIPES

Date balls have always been my go-to after dinner treat, on the go snack and all day munch. I knew I had to share these super quick and easy date ball recipes. There are so many different ways to make raw energy date balls but these 3 recipes are my absolute FAV ! 

I sometimes feel dates are forgotten but they deserve to be a staple in your diet all year round. There are so many health benefits that make dates so worth having on hand. 

COCOA ENEGRY DATE BALLS

Makes 10

Vegan, Paleo, Dairy free, Gluten free and Sugar free.

Macros per date ball (excl your choice of protein powder): 

7.73g Fats | 2.37g Protein | 14.03g Carbs

Ingredients:

  • 166g Pitless dates 
  • 80ml Desiccated coconut 
  • 50g Peanuts
  • Your go-to protein powder (preferred amount) I love using my PNS Whey protein powder
  • 1 tbsp cocoa
  • Pinch of sea salt 

Method: 

  1. Combine all ingredients in food processor or blender (I use my Nutribullet – super easy) on high until it forms a dough-like mixture.
  2. Roll tablespoonfuls into balls, then roll each one in the desiccated coconut or cocoa dependent on your preference.

(I like to keep mine in an air-tight container in the fridge)

NUTTY ALMOND DATE BALLS

Makes 10

Vegan, Paleo, Dairy free, Gluten free and Sugar free.

Macros per date ball (excl your choice of protein powder): 

6.74g Fats | 1.68g Protein | 13.52g Carbs

Ingredients:

  • 166g Pitless dates 
  • 80ml Desiccated coconut 
  • 30g Raw almonds
  • Your go-to protein powder (preferred amount) I love using my PNS Whey protein powder
  • Pinch of sea salt 

Method:

Ingredients:

  • 166g Pitless dates 
  • 80ml Desiccated coconut 
  • 30g Raw almonds
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • Your go-to protein powder (preferred amount) I love using my PNS Whey protein powder
  • Pinch of sea salt 

Method:
